01 / THE WEEK

RealYou progress this week.

August 3 to 7, 2026

The updated demo went across to your team on Friday. It carries the narration voice chosen from your own shortlist, a rebuilt prompt for story arc and age consistency, a fix for identity drifting between scenes, and an interview form that now shows example answers on each question. We have also changed how testing works. From here we test each build in full internally and bring you a complete iteration, rather than sending frequent partial updates for your team to work through. The narration, image quality, and dictation problems your team reported are the immediate fixes. Alongside that, the landing page build has started with the two edits agreed on the review call, and the platform's own infrastructure build continues on AWS.

To talk through together

These are things your team has asked for that we would like to talk through with you before anyone starts building them. They are here so nothing gets lost, and so it is clear which ones are straightforward and which ones need a decision together. The first depends on the video model the platform runs on today and is not a small change. The other two are both about the narration and are worth agreeing together. We are walking through all three on Wednesday.

Request Owner Status Notes
Multiple photo uploads and multi-shot video AIDM Model dependent Letting a user bring in more than one photo, and building a video from several shots rather than one continuous generation. These are one piece of work rather than two, because multi-shot relies on multiple photo uploads to work. Both depend on the video model the platform runs on today, which does not support them.
How the narration is written AIDM Straightforward What the narration says, and whether it speaks as the person or about them. This is a wording and prompt change on our side, so it is quick to adjust once we know which reads better to you.
Narration in a user's own voice AIDM Needs a decision Generating the narration in a user's own voice rather than a selected one. We know your team feels strongly about this and we understand the thinking behind it. What we want to be careful about is how it lands for the person watching, so we would like to walk through the options together before anything is built.

Landing page build under way

The brand is locked: hand-drawn, stamp-style, blue and gold. The landing page was approved on the review call and the build has now started, running about a week to ten days. What is left after that is the login integration and the final assembly. Two edits go in with it. The word "ritual" comes out across the whole site, replaced with practice or routine, and the "six steps, fifteen minutes" section moves behind the login so it does not sit in front of the paywall. Ahead of the build, the website code was cleaned up and optimized. Alongside the build, the launch prep is starting: your team's testimonials go onto the site, the social channels are being set up, and the branding visuals for the tool launch are in production.

Task Owner When Notes
Landing page build AIDM In progress Approved on the review call. The build runs about a week to ten days, with the two agreed edits applied.
Landing page testimonials AIDM In progress Adding the video testimonials to the landing page ahead of the login gate, once your team sends them.
Social channels AIDM In progress Four channels are set for launch: Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. The TikTok page is being built and account setup instructions are on their way to your team.
Branding visuals for the tool launch AIDM In progress Creating the brand visuals for the tool launch.
Record testimonials for the site Your team Within 2 weeks Your team records the video testimonials so we can add them to the landing page ahead of the launch. Two weeks at the latest keeps them in step with the build.
Video platform
Prototype review
Updated demo with your team for the second round

The video platform is a full build from scratch. Your team's feedback gave us a clear, specific list, and that list is the work now. We are updating the core of the generation, the prompts, the narration voice, and the anomalies your team flagged, so faces, motion, and narration line up more closely with each person. Testing has moved in-house: each build is now tested in full on our side before it reaches you, so what you receive is a complete iteration rather than a partial one. The interview is being tuned alongside it: a specific age instead of a range, more room in the answer fields, and a clearer sense of progress while a video is being made. With hosting settled on AWS, the infrastructure the platform runs on is moving into its build stage.

Task Owner When Notes
Full internal testing before release AIDM This week Every build is now tested end to end on our side before it comes to you. You receive a complete iteration to review rather than a partial one to debug.
Infrastructure build on AWS AIDM In progress Standing up the servers, interfaces, and the video generation pipeline the platform runs on, now that hosting is settled on AWS.
Dictation and speech-to-text AIDM In progress Working through the problems your team reported on the last build: dictation returning the wrong words after a few seconds, narration quality, and image generation. Login access is being checked alongside them.
Admin dashboard and automations
In progress
Running the business from inside the product

This is the side of the product you run the business from. The admin dashboard brings social performance, subscriptions, email campaigns and the customer records behind them, finances, and video generation activity into one place, so you see what is happening without asking anyone to pull it together. Alongside it we will be turning on automations so the routine steps run on their own. The dashboard is built across July and August and gets presented to you in early September.

Task Owner When Notes
Admin dashboard AIDM Jul to Aug One place to see social performance, subscriptions, email campaigns and the customer records behind them, finances, and video generation activity, so the business runs from inside the product rather than alongside it.
Automations AIDM Planned Turning on automations across the day-to-day running of the business, so the routine steps happen without anyone doing them by hand.
